Happy Birthday to Me

My birthday is April 13 and so I claim all of April as my birthday month. Lucky for you, that means some fun giveaways and surprises. Yay!

But, before kicking it off, I’ll share one of my favorite poems by Robert Frost. Yeah, not the most optimistic bit of writing out there, but it always reminds me of springtime, youth, and the importance of living life to its fullest.

Nothing Gold Can Stay

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
So, keep your eye out for the upcoming fun!
