I would love to win the EASportsActive game. I’d like to be devoted enough to exercising at home that I could drop health club membership. Right now I only exercise at Health Club.

The EASportsActive game looks so awesome. My favorite part of a workout? When it is over! I go to the gym in the mornings before work. It would be nice to workout at home and skip the gross showers!

One thing I love about exergaming is being able to get in a quality, interesting workout without leaving my house. If I had to pack my gym clothes, find babysitting, travel to the gym, etc. – I’d never make it.

At the moment I’m using My Fitness Coach, and I love it. It tracks my goals and my fitness level, adjusting as I need it. I can’t wait to try out EA Sports Active – it sounds like a great game and a great workout!

I love that one of the exercises is jumping :)

I would really like to try something like this to supplement the gym- I have been having a hard time getting there with the kids being home sick from school, so it would be nice to get in the habit of doing a few games each night.

    :)

I love that I can still get in some exercise while my kids are sleeping with exergaming – my hubby travels ALOT for work (he’s in switzerland this week) and if it weren’t for my wii I’d never get any exercise.

I currently use wii fit and love it as it allows me to exercise when ever I have the time, even late in the evenings (and no waiting for exercise machines at the gym.) I love the idea of the kickboxing in EA active, as this is a great form of exercise.

I have been eagerly awaiting this releases since end of 2007.

My girls and I would love to win this because it would greatly benefit our health and lives. I am trying so hard to teach them about the effects of long term exercise habits. Being that I homeschool them and we only have one vehicle, it is difficult to motivate them to do anything other than outside play. When we play sports games they don’t even realize they are exercising. Thanks & God Bless

I have Wii Fit and lover exergaming because it is easy, can be done at home on my own time and it is effective. I’ve lost 20 lbs since I’ve starting. I can’t wait to try EA Sports Active.

I love exergaming because it makes exercising so much more fun. I’ve used Yourself!Fitness (for the Xbox), Wii Fit, and the Wii Sports games to be active during the day.

I like it because I can do it on the days that I don’t go to the gym, even when the weather is too nasty to go outside. Exergaming has already helped me to have better balance and a better constitution. EA Sports Active would be a great addition to my home exercise routine!

Thanks for running the contest, it’s fantastic to have the chance to win.

Exer-gaming is one of my favourite new ways to get in shape. I particularly like the feedback it provides on weight and BMI and (in the case of Wii Fit, anyway) just how much fun it makes certain “exercises” – like hulahooping or step aerobics. I’ve read a glowing endorsement of EA Sports from Allison Sweeney (host of “Biggest Loser”) and I think that if she works in proximity of the trainers Bob & Jillian and is endorsing this exergame, then the trainers must also approve of them, at least tacitly.

I’m an exergamer. I’ve been playing Dance Dance Revolution for almost five years, first for fun then worked my way up for exercising. I play DDR for my cardio, burning 600+ kcal each time. For people who love fun, addictive games while wanting to get active, I highly suggest playing DDR. It’s also nice to have if you’re uneasy with working out in public.

I love exergaming because I work full time, have 3 small girls at home and I am a full time student so working out outside the house is about next to impossible. I need something that I can do quickly and actually enjoy….because let’s face it, if I don’t enjoy it I won’t do it! So exergaming combines fun and exercise.

I am a huge advocate of exergaming! I am almost 30 pounds lighter since starting my WiiFit 336 days ago! You mentioned that once you unlock the various levels there is no longer a challenge. I disagree…For the step aerobics, I pulled out my step and set the balance board on that, eventually adding the second level to my step. And I’ve incorporated light hand weights as well.

I love the convenience of being able to workout on my schedule. I also love the instant feedback given by the game. And I laugh at the light scolding the “Board” gives me if I’ve missed a couple/few days. ;-)

I had read about the EA Sports Active a month ago and I’m very excited about it. This is one game I want to purchase as soon as it comes out!

It can be really fun. My family loves to play Wii fit together. For some of us it is the closest we get to exercise. Since we have friendly competition (most times) it helps us to be active without complaint. I’m really looking forward to getting a new game for us.

I am a diabetic and using the Wii Fit exercise system for the last years, I have lost 72 pounds. This would make a good variation for me, I could do the Boxing Game every one day and I would be the thirty days challenge.

Corrections: I just finished today’s workout and my fingers are a little unsteady. I have lost 72 pounds in one years of using the Wii Fitness program. If I varied it with the Boxing Program, I could win the Boxing programs challenge. These are terrific ways to get fit & stay fit while having fun.

I like exercising on my Wii Fit because it’s fun and because I can get the kids to do it with me. At my health club, the kids are only allowed to use the pool, they are not allowed to use the workout equipment at all. When we use the Wii Fit at home, the kids will get up and work out with me, and it makes it fun. I’d like to see the Wii put out more workout games that are fun. Another benefit is that it brings us together as a family in a fun way!

What I like about exergaming is that I can create customized workout routines that work the upper and lower body and can also incorporate resistance bands as well. Would love to give this a try-thanks for the opportunity!
