Rwandan Basket, Bag and Apron

The Rwanda Path to Peace project supports the women of Rwanda in selling their handmade textiles and baskets. You can read a bit more about the project in my earlier post.

Their gorgeous items are available at Macy’s, but you have the opportunity to win one of the baskets. You can see mine in the picture, along with a bag and apron. Yours will probably be a different color and pattern, but I’m sure you’ll still love it. Visit Macy’s to see some of the other wonderful designs.

It’s all part of the Not Your Mama’s Lump of Coal Giveaway.

  1. Leave a comment on this post (right down below). It’s Christmas, so I’ll make it easy on you. Just leave a comment below.
  2. Make sure you enter the correct email address in the email spot on the comment form so I can reach you. Please don’t put your email in the actual comment.

Details:

  • Contest will end at 11:59pm Eastern on December 17, 2009.
  • Winners will be chosen via random.org. Winner must comply with all rules mentioned here, or a new winner will be selected. I will have the final decision in this matter.
  • I will email the winners who will then have 48 hours to respond and claim their prizes. [Depending on the circumstances, winners may have additional time to respond.]

    Very interesting, neat concept. I just got done hand-making messenger bags with some friends to raise funds so we can go to Tanzania this coming summer to build a chicken farm for an orphanage.
