Day 39–Ultimate 40th Anniversary Disney World Mousketeer Giveaway

221While I love most things Disney, I am at heart a Mickey Mouse fan. I have loved him since I was very young, and have always seen Mickey Mouse as a symbol for happiness and joy. That love extends to one of his homes, Walt Disney World. In fact, it is a running joke with my husband that I knew we were meant to be when I found out that he was born on the day Disney World opened. It’s fate!

When I started planning my 40 Days of Giveaways, I knew that I wanted to celebrate not only my 40th birthday, but the 40th anniversary of Disney World. If I’m highlighting brands and products that I love, it would be incomplete without a nod to a brand that inspired my career path and influences my daily life. My lovely friends at the Disney Store agreed to come on board for this very special giveaway. You can see the whole thing in the picture above, but here’s what you could win:

40th Anniversary Mickey Mouse Ears for adults – These are so cute for a Disney fan. The hat is covered with pictures of memorabilia from Walt Disney World over the years. With a 40th Anniversary embroidered patch and pins for Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, these ears are extra special.

40th Anniversary Walt Disney World Tee for Women – This has a great vintage look to it and I love the way these T-shirts fit.

40th Anniversary Walt Disney World Lanyard Medal and Pin Set (2 piece) – Mickey, Goofy and Donald celebrate 40 Years of Magic.

40th Anniversary Walt Disney World Starter Pin Set – Whether you’re new to pin trading or a long-time collector, this set is amazing. It includes pins of Mickey, Pluto, Goofy and Donald, all with the 40th Anniversary logo.

40th Anniversary Walt Disney World Spinner Pin – This one is just plain fun. Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy spin around a pin with a lenticular plate in the center containing the 40th Anniversary logo.

This gorgeous set is worth more than $100 and is enough for a whole family to enjoy.

  1. Going to Disney World and seeing the castle in person was definitely my favorite Disney memory.

  2. Going to Disney World and getting a pair of Mickey Mouse ears with my name embroided on the back.

  3. Wow! So my number one favorite memory of Disney World is the first time I went. My In-laws took me and my fiance a couple years back. I have always been super excited about anything Disney and so my Mother-in-law thought it would be a nice treat to take me and see my expressions. Needless to say I didn’t disappoint. I started crying once I saw the castle (mind you we had just gotten our tickets and weren’t even to the park yet). It was just so beautiful and magical. I still get that way every time I see it and we go down every winter now. There is just something so happy about Disney and the magic it brings.

  4. As a kid I remember the joy of approaching the Magic Kingdom on the monorail looking forward to a day of magical fun – and likewise the melencholy of leaving it behind that same evening on the same monorail. Our family always put aside all the normal family arguements and just had fun together.

  5. You see….As a child it was always my dream to see Cinderella’s Castle but my parents were divorced with myself and my sister at an early age. So, with my mom being a single mother of two young girls we could never afford to go. I am now the mother of a beautiful 8 year old daughter in which her father up and walked out of our lives at the age of 2. My dream has now become my little girls dream to see the Cinderella Castle but I could never afford to take her with the money I make. It would truly be a dream come true for my little girl…..Thank you for reading.

  6. My favorite Disney memory is meeting Winnie the Pooh when I was 6. He was making an appearance at a local store.
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  7. By far our best vacations have been with Disney–our favorite was at Disneyland—we stayed at the Grand California hotel which is right between Disneyland and actually in California Adventure–so when the kids got tired it was a few minutes walk to the hotel for a quick nap–or to the pool to cool off–oh and we have a history of bad luck with hotels–we ask for non smokeing 2 beds and get one bed in a smoke filled room—but Disney upgraded us to a suite–I cried when they told me–just expecting to hear sorry –problem with room etc—but to check in and have them tell me that they upgraded us was just overwhelming!. They had snacks and games for the kids—one night we had a mystery to solve it was sort of a scavenger hunt at the end they gave us a key to an amazing room filled with treats—we had the time of our lives!

  8. My favorite Disney memory is of the serials like Spin and Marty shown on the TV show The Mickey Mouse Club. In these shows, the adults were not too swift and the kids always saved the day. As a child, that was empowering.

  9. I have been in love with Disney ever since my Mom and Dad gave me an Alice in Wonderland watch which at the time came with a beautiful figurine. Thank you for the giveaway :)

  12. We went to Disney World when My Son was 10 years old.I have to say that’s been over 15 years ago.We all had such a fun time!

  13. My favorite memory is taking my son to Disneyland. It was a last minute getaway for the weekend and it was so much fun to see the awe on his face!

  14. I had a favorite blanket when I was a little kid and it was mickey mouse. I loved that blanket and still have it today but now i have it for keep sakes.
