Verizon recently opened their 4th “Destination Store” in Boston’s Back Bay. Previous locations are in Houston, Chicago, and Bloomington, MN. These stores, as the title implies, are meant to draw in visitors as a destination unto themselves, not just a convenient shopping location. To do so, they’ve included a wide range of interactive displays and exhibits, including (here in Boston) examples of products from the Verizon Innovation Center in Waltham, MA. If that isn’t enough, Verizon is giving guests the opportunity for meet and greets with Donnie Wahlberg or Jack&Jack on April 11, 2015.
There are a few ways to win. You can head over to the store and take a selfie with the cutouts of your favorite guest (*Must be 21 or over for the cocktail reception with Donnie Wahlberg). You can be one of the first people in line for the opportunities with Jack&Jack. And then, you can take your chances are randomly winning tickets by visiting the store on that day. For the specifics, you can visit the Verizon Wireless Website:
All day long, there will be guided tours of the new store, plus other giveaways.
Wondering what you might find at a Verizon Destination Store other than your favorite celebrities? Spend time in the Digital DJ Booth, mixing your own beats. Test out a toy drone and live out your piloting fantasies. Try a Fitbit and get in some exercise. Play around with a model connected home. Customize your own cases and make one that’s perfect for you. There are a lot of things to do, plus all of the phones, accessories, toys, and lifestyle products you’d expect from Verizon Wireless.
