Top 5 Super Bowl Ads for 2013

There are many people who look forward to Super Bowl ads just as much as the game itself. Hulu recognizes this and set up the Hulu Adzone sponsored by Toyota to capture all of the ads and give fans a chance to vote for their favorites. Hulu collected votes through 11pm EST on Sunday, February 3. And the winners are:

1. Ram Trucks: Farmer

2. Budweiser: Brotherhood

3. Taco Bell: Viva Young

4. Volkswagen: Get In. Get Happy.

5. Universal Pictures: “Fast & Furious 6” Game Day Trailer

If you don’t agree, you can still head over to vote for your favorite ads. I had some personal faves that I want to share with you. Here they are:

Best Geek Humor

Best Buy: Asking Amy

Amy Poehler is generally pretty funny, but when she runs amok with a Best Buy “Blue Shirt,” the results are pretty awesome.

Best Parenting Moment

Kia: Space Babies

I think most parents dread “the birds and the bees” conversation, but I love this dad’s creative take and quick thinking.

Downright Disturbing, Yet Strangely Funny

M&Ms: Love Ballad

I hate when companies personify food products, but this is pretty clever. And creepy.

Best Use of Pop Culture to Sell a Product

Wonderful Pistachios: PSY – Wonderful Pistachios Get Crackin’

I’m enjoying the current, somewhat edgy, use of pop culture in the Wonderful Pistachio commercials. They continue that trend with this particular ad. There’s something bizarre about dancing pistachios, but if you can get past it, it’s kind of fun.

You can find all of the Super Bowl 2013 Ads at the Hulu Adzone. Which one is your favorite?
