Verizon Educational Tools & a Fun Twitter Party

It’s not easy finding educational apps for your kids. The app stores are chock-full of choices, but which ones are quality? Which ones aren’t? Verizon set out to help its customers make choices with Verizon Educational Tools. The app includes reviews on a wide range of educational app and video options, as rated by educators an parents. They are broken down by grade, subject, and Common Core standards. There are also special offers and discounts for Verizon customers.

The app is free to download and for a preview. Verizon MORE Everything customers can sign up for access to the content for free (for the life of their contracts) until the end of September. Other Verizon customers and those registering after the end of the month will pay $2 for the recommendations. (Note: Verizon MORE Everything customers will receive a $2 credit on their bill toward the Verizon Educational Tools fee).

I’ve joined up with Verizon to help spread the word about Verizon Educational Tools and to try it out myself. You can join me tonight (Wednesday, September 3, 2014) at 8pm ET for a Twitter party to learn more about the app and what it can do for you. They’re even giving away a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, so you’ll have the perfect device for trying out all of the great offerings!
