Savanna in Pyjamas from Bloco Toys
We have reviewed three sets from Bloco Toys, and Savanna in Pajamas
is my personal favorite. The kit makes four models at the same time, including a giraffe, zebra, leopard and snake, and they’re all very cute. They’re bigger than they look in pictures; this leopard is about 8 inches tall.
Savanna in Pajamas is a good set if you are trying to engage a younger child in the process because there are a lot of dots to punch out. On the other side, there are a lot of dots to put in, which may start to feel a bit tedious. The level of fun is going to depend a lot on the age, dexterity and patience level of the person assembling the kit. Regardless, the animals are adorable when assembled and hold up to play better than the other kits we’ve looked at. They still aren’t going to handle rough activity, but they’ll stand up to some gentle creative play.
Like the other Bloco Toys, Savanna in Pyjamas is made of a high density foam. This set has 350 pieces that can be mixed and matched if you’re feeling creative. We found the directions on all of the sets to be clear enough for our five-year-old to follow. No reading required.
This set is available for $25-30, which keeps it a nice price point for gift giving or even just to keep around for rainy day fun.
Disclosure: We received this set for review purposes. There was no promise of a positive review and all opinions in this post are my own. This post also contains affiliate links to the product.
