Motorola Power Pack Micro Review
Are you ever getting ready to run out of the house and you can’t find your phone? Or, maybe more likely, you’ve got your phone, but can’t find your keys? Motorola aims to solve that problem, as well as the angst of low battery life, with the Power Pack Micro. This little device is a charger and a locator, all in one. I’ve put together a little demo for you to check out.

Philips Shoqbox Portable Bluetooth Speaker Sets Your Music Free, Wherever You Are
One of the unusual things about our new house is that it has an indoor Endless Pool. I never thought that I’d have a pool inside my house, but I’m certainly not complaining that I do. Swimming is a good, low-impact exercise, and something that I really enjoy (even if I’m not all that good at it). The kids love being in the pool when there’s snow outside, so that’s fun, too. But while I’m floating (ahem, swimming) around, I love to listen to some lively music. What to do about streaming my music near a body of water?
Last summer, Philips gave me a Shoqbox Portable Bluetooth Speaker to try out and, although I haven’t shared about it, I have been using it non-stop. I love it. It’s splash-proof and sand-proof, making it ideal for the beach, or a hike, or sitting by your pool (indoor or outdoor, of course). It will survive a quick dip in the water, as long as you catch it before it’s in there too long (or goes too deep), but it really shines in wet or dusty environments where you don’t want to bring your phone or portable radio.

Mini Jambox Bluetooth Speaker–Customization and Powerful Sound
Bluetooth speakers are all the rage, and why not? With a mobile lifestyle, it’s not enough to just take our music on the go. It has to sound great as well. Jawbone has recently released the Mini Jambox, which not only brings it in the sound category, but looks good, too. The newest addition to their popular Jambox line, the Mini Jambox is a mere 9 ounces and just over 6 inches in length. It’s less than an inch thick and just 2.28 inches high. It comes in an array of delicious colors and designs so you can show off more of your personality while rockin’ some great tunes. We received a Mini Jambox for review in the sleek Graphite facet style.
Sleep Deprivation and the Jawbone UP
Lately I’ve been feeling really tired. I’m someone who gravitates towards 8 or 9 hours of sleep a night and, while I rarely get that, I thought I was hitting between 7 and 8 hours. I often take a nap in the evenings so I have enough focus to get some work done before bed. I was starting to believe that I must have some sort of serious health problem because I thought I was getting enough sleep, but was still feeling exhausted.
Video Review of the JuiceBar Multi-Device Pocket Solar Charger
We received a JuiceBar Multi-Device Pocket Solar Charger from CableOrganizer.com for review. I was excited about it, because I think it’s important to have basic preparations in place for emergency situations. Solar power on a small scale isn’t going to revolutionize your life, but it can certainly help you out in a pinch. I’ve done a video review of the charger with a slightly more detailed recap below.
Internet on the Go with a Verizon Jetpack MiFi
I travel regularly for work, and, as a mom, I also spend a lot of time waiting for hockey practice, gymnastics practice, doctor’s appointments… I love my smartphone, but it’s not practical for heavy correspondence or other writing tasks. Enter the Verizon Wireless Jetpack 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot MiFi. The Jetpack allows you connect multiple devices (laptop, tablet, etc.) to the Internet using your Verizon Wireless data plan.
ZeroChroma iPad and Tablet Cases
When I bumped into ZeroChroma at CES, I didn’t think much about it. I see a lot of tablet cases with flash and sizzle and theirs were pretty unassuming. Nonetheless, I stopped to chat, and I’m very glad I did. ZeroChroma brings performance to the forefront with cases that adapt and swivel, allowing your iPad, Kindle Fire, or iPhone to be at just the right angle and orientation for whatever you’re doing at the time.
PadPivot from RocketFish
PadPivot is one of those devices you may not know that you need until you try it out. This lightweight and portable device holds your favorite tablet, phone, or eReader for hands-free viewing on a table or (less hands-free) perching on your thigh. It has a sticky pad that will stick to your device and to some cases. If you’re using a case that won’t stick, there’s a notch that holds your device upright. It also comes with a leg strap to keep it stable while sitting on your thigh.
iPad 2 Keyboard Capsule Review
I love my iPad. It’s easy to travel with, it keeps my kids entertained, and my husband can watch movies on it. But when I’m away from my laptop, I miss having a keyboard. The touch screen is fine for using apps, writing quick messages, and playing games, but when I need to write a lengthy email or want to do a blog post, it is just plain tedious. Enter the iPad 2 Keyboard Capsule from Rocketfish.
