Donate Your Stuff to a School in Need with Swap.com

Today Mayor Menino announced a partnership between Swap.com and the Boston Public Schools. As part of the Swap4Schools initiative, which is open to educators throughout the United States, Boston schools can post wish lists for books, movies, video games and CDs on the Swap.com website. Swap users can then choose to donate their old items to schools in need.

Swap.com is a site that allows users to swap their used media for items other people are parting with. It’s a way to save money and prevent useful items from ending up in landfills. Other schools and teachers can register for Swap4Schools as well.
