How About Some Dirty Dancing in Boston? [Giveaway]

Dirty Dancing LogoDo you remember the first time you saw the movie Dirty Dancing? If you’re as old as I am, it may just have been during its original release THIRTY-ONE years ago. And this one low-budget movie with a somewhat sketchy premise won our hearts, added a popular phrase to our pop culture (“Nobody puts Baby in a corner.”), spawned countless wedding dances, and continues to influence media today. So when I was offered tickets to review the traveling production of Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage at the Shubert Theater in Boston (with two to give away to you!), I had to say yes. I’m bringing a girlfriend and intend to have “The Time of My Life.” Want to do the same? Read on!

Dirty Dancing is directed by Sarna Lapine (Sunday in the Park with George – Broadway; War Horse – North American tour). Leading a company of 24 are Aaron Patrick Craven as Johnny Castle and Kaleigh Courts as Francis “Baby” Houseman. The ensemble is comprised of Alex Caldwell, Ayla Ciccone-Burton, Amanda Clement, J’royce Jata, Hunter Mikles, Honza Pelichovksy, Erica Philpot, Joshua Clifton Powell, Hannah Straney, Jay Stuart, Kelsey Walsh and Aidan Ziegler-Hansen.
