I realize that I haven’t posted the pictures from LadyBug’s Butterfly Garden birthday party last June, so you probably have no idea just how enamored I am with Mason jars. They’re kind of trendy right now, anyway, but I just love how versatile they are. And there’s something to be said about storing things in glass, rather than plastic. So, when my friends at 360 PR offered to send me some of the gorgeous blue Heritage Collection jars from Ball, who was I to say no? Of course, they arrived right before we left for vacation, and then we went on another vacation, and then school started. They have been sitting in their shipping box since they arrived because I KNEW I’d be distracted the moment they came out. And, indeed, I was.
They’re just so pretty. I’m still thinking of the perfect project for them, but I did spend some time playing around. No need to be crazy fancy, either. The jars shine without a lot of folderol.
I recently had brunch at Craigie on Main and they brought our check curled up in a sweet little 4oz jar with the pen resting inside. Like, I said, the right Mason jar can dress up just about anything.
What would you do with these lovely Heritage Ball jars? Oh, yes, and they are great for canning, too.
Disclosure: We received a set of Ball jars to play with. There was no additional compensation and the opinions in this post are my own.
