Lenovo Horizon 2 Table PC Brings Families Together to Play and Share
Years ago, I spent a few hours in a hotel lobby with friends playing on an interactive table top. It could play music and games, and we enjoyed all being able to use it together. Lenovo’s Horizon 2 Table PC brings that experience into your home with some really cool features that you can enjoy on your own, or as a family. As part of the Lenovo Moms program, I had a chance to tour their latest offerings while at the Consumer Electronics Show this year and got a little more information about their newest Table PC.

A Family-Friendly Review of Disney Infinity
A family-focused review on Disney Infinity from Disney Interactive. Is it fun? Will your kids enjoy it? Can you play as a family? We’ll let you know.
Play Nice(r) With Your Phone, Your Xbox, and Xbox SmartGlass
This month I’m testing out the Nokia Lumia 928 phone from Verizon Wireless. It’s a Windows phone, which is a change of pace for me, so I’ve been on the hunt for fun apps to share with all of you. There are lots of great apps out there, but I stumbled across something I wasn’t familiar with: Xbox SmartGlass. Now, SmartGlass isn’t exactly new (it came out last year), but it’s new to me. I bet it’s new to a lot of you, as well. Xbox SmartGlass allows you to pair mobile devices with your Xbox to allow enhanced control and content.

App Review: The Book of Holes
I love a quirky app. Why be boring? The Book of Holes by Poul Lange fits the bill. This interactive e-book from Chocolate Factory Publishing is strange and beautiful and silly and fun.
3 Mellow PS3 Games for Chillin’ This Summer
When most non-gamers hear “video games,” they usually think of titles like Halo, Grand Theft Auto, and World of Warcraft. Maybe they think of casual games such as those found on Facebook or mobile devices. The truth is that there are some great PS3 games where no one is shooting at you and that progress
Monsters University Storybook Deluxe App Review
Do you have career aspirations to be a Scarer? Always wanted a job at Monsters, Inc.? Well, then, you’re in luck. Disney Digital Books invites you to enroll at Monsters University in their new app Monsters University Storybook Deluxe for iOS. Start out by taking a picture and making your own custom student ID. Will you be scary? Silly? It’s up to you. Then you’ll have to declare your major and select a fraternity or sorority (hint: Mike and Sulley join Oozma Kappa…).

Creating with Crayola DigiTools Deluxe Pack
As tablets rise in popularity with kids, we’re seeing more and more accessories designed just for them. One example are the DigiTools sets from Crayola for the iPad. I’ve had my eye on these for awhile, but we recently received a review set from Verizon Wireless so we could try them out at home.
Microsoft Stores as Community Spaces
You may have seen a Microsoft store in your community and I’m sure you wouldn’t be surprised to learn that they sell a wide range of computers, tablets, phones, video games, and accessories. When I was asked to attend a webinar and visit a Microsoft store by The Motherhood, I’m not sure what I expected. I did not expect that Microsoft stores are becoming social spaces for learning and playing.
