Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer the Musical in Boston [Giveaway]
Did you know that it’s the 50th anniversary of the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer television special? There will be a lot of celebrating this year for the famous reindeer and his buddies (I’m particularly excited about the set of U.S. Postal Service stamps), but what better way than to catch the whole gang live at Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical? The show will be hitting stops all over North America this holiday season, but of course I have my eye on a week-long engagement at the Citi Shubert Theatre in Boston from December 9-14, 2014.
The live show mirrors its television counterpart, so families can relive the story of misfits Rudolph, Hermey, the Abominable Snow Monster, and Yukon Cornelius with familiar songs and plot. They even designed the costumes, props, and puppets to reflect the stop-motion designs in the original.
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical plays at the Citi Performing Arts Center Shubert Theatre, 265 Tremont St., Boston,Tuesday, December 9 – Sunday, December 14, 2014, for 12 performances: Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 7:00 pm; morning matinees on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 am; and afternoon matinees at 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm on Saturday andSunday. Tickets are priced at $28.00 – $68.00; all prices include a $3.75 facility fee per ticket and are on-sale at www.citicenter.org or by calling (866) 348-9738. Groups of 10 or may reserve tickets now by contacting Citi Performing Arts Center Group Sales at(617) 532-1116 or groups@citicenter.org For more information, visit www.citicenter.org .
The Island of Misfit Toys is one of my favorite things about the TV show, so I’m looking forward to seeing the live interpretation. Want to see it, too? I’ve got a pack of four tickets to give away to opening night on December 9. To enter, leave a comment below telling me your favorite character in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Then, make sure to record that entry and any additional entries in the Rafflecopter Widget). To avoid missing out on your prize, please make sure to review the terms & conditions for this giveaway in the Rafflecopter Widget, including any limits for entering.
Disclosure: We were provided tickets for the purposes of a review. There was no additional compensation and the opinions contained in this post are my own.

Love everthing about the show. Since I need to pick one, it would be Hermey!! He knows he doesn’t fit in, so he leaves in search for a better, happier life
